I love the prospect of more in-depth camping-screen (maybe items that give bonuses also?).

One thing that bothers me is:
Are the hunger and thrist bars going to go "down = better" (since less hunger and thrist are better).
I would think it is more intuitive to keep all the bars in the same direction (full = good).
Maybe rename hunger/thist to food/water?

@Monk: To be honest, I think most player of the target demographic would prefer having the monk without special animations over not having the monk at all. Just guessing though.

@Druid (and other Casters): Do you plan to implement spells that don't directly have an effect in combat, but provide utility in the campaign for travel, surval etc..
examples: create water, purify food and drink, control weather, teleport, fly, mount, longstrider, rope trick, etc...

I find that the "utility" spells are usually what really elevates a mid-high level party into doing impossible (by normal means) things.

Journey through the perilous hot desert that takes months...
with the above spells a prepared party can turn this into a walk in the park.

I would love to be able to feel that the casters have more to offer than being artillery.

I understand.

Very nice to hear though that the framework is intended to be flexible/modable.
I very much like the story, premise and almoste all of the systems of Pathfinder Kingmaker (though they just had to fiddle with the skills/skillpoints).
And of course, real-time with

I love that you will stick to turn based, and I very much welcome the switch to hexagons (no weird diagonal moves).

Very glad to hear that it is not hardcoded.
I understand that 6 is the "classic" limit, but it always felt strange when, for example in Baldur's Gate, you could not pick up 1 additional, temporary NPC to help them, then drop them when done.

I wanted to ask what reasons are/were to use the DnD 3.5 SRD instead of the Pathfinder SRD?

Is there a license associated with Pathfinder?

I'm asking of course because I personally prefer most of the little improvements that PF has made over 3.5 (skill system, Half-Orcs, more interestin Fighter Class, etc etc)

Is it possible/considered to make the Character Limit of 6 not hardcoded (modable)?

I'm aware of possible balancing issues, but since the game seems to for high modability and is only single player, there seem to be no downsides beside technical/coding issues.

If this could be made not hardcoded at least the door could be left open for modders to incorporate mods for more than 6 Characters (Familiars, Animal Companions, Companions via Leadership, etc, etc..).
