At least give us a short version tutorial of the content creator tool that is suppose to be in our hands when the game comes out. There is nothing to spoil about the main story line when you show how the campaign editor works. People keep saying it's a small studio therefore they can't give us regular updates is false logic, there has been games with  much smaller staffing with tons of  updates almost every month or so.

But this game gives us updates every 6 months to a year and when we do see an update it's mostly a re-hash of old stuff we've seen before. It's all about keeping your fans engaged more then anything, last time i posted in here i think was early this year since i got a little hyped they were going to show another combat preview. But again, ever since then they went of the map.

The things that I like to see is concept arts of different monsters or more dungeon settings without revealing their location in the world. Or, customization of characters and monsters in the campaign editor etc...

Please don't hurry up ??!! The devs haven't shown anything more than a year ago now. They said they would give us something this month and yet were still in the  dark, there playing games with us. Is it even being developed anymore?

So, I wonder, is the game built for a Hero with Party or also a Solo Hero?

Generally, for a whole party but technically it should be possible to play with a single hero through the campaign (not sure about some puzzles though).

That is really concerning to me when you said that? What? with the D&D rules playing solo and completing the campaign should be impossible !! You have to create a party or else you wont be able to defeat even 10 goblins on the battlefield much less dragons!!! lol

Are you saying that through out the campaign you would encounter only 1 enemy if your playing solo? Because when you play solo no matter what class, you won't be able to handle multiple enemies, even if your level 10 and your enemies are half of that. And I don't think your game is designed for solo play when you show multiple enemies. You've already shown groups of enemies roaming on the map, you play solo and get ambushed your F*****. It's almost as if you have to be 20 levels higher than the mobs to handle them.

Good discussion, if you are designing this game where the encounters are hand crafted and without level scaling, will we able to at least have an idea of the comparable strength of the group of mobs in the world versus your group's strength before engaging? That way we can have a chance to avoid unnecessary wipes /deaths? Say there is a dungeon we discover, but have no idea what to expect? Will the dungeon itself give us a level range or we have to go in ourselves and find out or maybe even get ambushed and get ourselves killed unnecessarily by overwhelming mobs? Do my examples use a character's skills like dungeoneering or knowledge to find out about the monsters strength or will the game's design show us by hovering over mobs or dungeons?

Also, since you said that the Orc's in the world will have a pre-determined level or level(s) as an example. I am assuming that the Orc's found in a certain region of the World which is less dangerous will be at a certain low level and if we encounter Orc's at a more dangerous part of the World those same Orc's will be at a higher level?
And say for the sake of argument, we design a quest which will allow us to make the Orc's at a higher level then what the designers for the game intended, will that be possible? For example, you have the Orc's at level 4 and I design a quest where I can make an Orc at level 6 or 7? And that goes for any creature or mobs?

Why is it so hard to show us stuff for this game, is this game even on track?  It has been too long without any gameplay, it's sad. Other companies give us updates every week!

WoW this game with no news for sooo long, ? maybe baldur's gate 3 will  release earlier? At least show us some new gameplay, keep us entertained and get our hopes up!

Will there be a mechanic that will catalog the types of monsters we've encountered and defeated ? And will display their vulnerabilities and special powers for future  reference? And I'm sure there are DC checks for it...

Can an NPC or creature become hostile and attack us if we give them the wrong anwser or rub them the wrong way in a convesation? Or, if were missing a quest item and couldn't return it on time, the NPC decides to eliminate us? Especially if an NPC is an evil alignment?
